what to expect on your first visit

The first person you will see is Tamara, our Front Office Chiropractic Assistant. She will greet you with a big smile and be there to help make your first visit very pleasant and answer any questions you may have.

 

At Family Wellness Center, we feel that it's our responsibility to make it as easy as possible to obtain chiropractic care. We want you to have the best experience possible when you visit our caring office. We hope to answer a few questions that you may have before coming to our office.

How do I get there?

You can get directions from the "Location" button on the welcome page or call us. We are located at 1903 Main St., Woodward, OK. Our office is in the same large building as Joe Cheaps Sporting Goods and Fit-Life Gym, Jim's Nutrition, and a Northwest Real Estate office. Go in the double doors facing north. How long will it take?

Your 1st visit will take approximately 1 hour. Please come about 30 minutes before your appointment time to fill out necessary papers. 

How much will it cost?

We always do a complementary consultation to determine if chiropractic is right for you. If you can benefit from chiropractic, and you choose to proceed, then the cost will range from $55 - $160, depending on the number of necessary X-rays.

Do I have to have X-rays?

The doctor will determine if X-rays are needed at the time of your initial exam. Only necessary X-rays will be taken and we do not customarily X-ray children under the age of 16 years.

Will I receive an adjustment on my first visit?

Once the examination and necessary X-rays have been completed, the Doctor will need time to review the details of your condition. You will be scheduled for a follow-up appointment (Report of Findings) where the details of your examination and care recommendations will be discussed with you. Your first adjustment will take place on your second visit.
